FROG Konferenz

Tausende begeisterte Gamer*innen treffen sich bei der GAME CITY im Wiener Rathaus. Gleichzeitig findet mitten im Geschehen die internationale Konferenz FROG – Future and Reality of Gaming statt. 2 Tage lang stehen akademische Diskurse, Vorträge, Diskussionen und Workshops rund ums Thema Gaming am Programm. Diese international einzigartige Tagung bringt Spieler*innen, Entwickler*innen, Designer*innen, Student*innen, Pädagog*innen, Wissenschaftler*innen und Expert*innen aus unterschiedlichsten Disziplinen zusammen.
Die FROG 2025 findet am Samstag und Sonntag unter dem Motto „Play. Learn. Connect. Esports in Youth Media Practice“ statt.

FROG Conference

While thousands of enthusiastic players are gathering annually at the GAME CITY in the Vienna City Hall, the FROG invites to an academic discourse on the subject of games. The international conference brings together scholars, players, students, game designers, game developers, educators and experts from various disciplines to discuss the Future and Reality of Gaming.
FROG 2025 takes place on Saturday and Sunday. The conference explores Esports in the context of innovative youth media work: „Play. Learn. Connect. Esports in Youth Media Practice“.
